Hello,
My name is Nir Furman and I am a music major in jazz performance. I am currently in my junior year and sopposed to graduate next years. 

on this site you will be able to see my essay and information about a subject that I researched in composition class. 

The subject I was researched is: How the COVID-19 pandemic affected the music industry. 

Through my researched and our classes, I learned a lot about writing and expressing my self on the paper. Tools like rhetorical analysis helped me to understand what needs to be in a paper or any other genre. I realized how important are things like tone, stance, audience and more. the progress of getting better in writing started right after our first paper which is the sourced base essay. I was able to see my own improvement in every new essay I wrote. 
The secind thing I learnd about writing is to how to do an effefctive research and collect information. Going through different sources and dig in into more information helped me to be more focused and understand what information I am looking for. The third think I learnd is how to create composition in different genres. learning more about each genre and understand it with rhetorical analysis helped me to be more creative and understand who I am writing for and what my composition supposed to look like.
